The Right to Information Act has come into force from 15 June, 2005. This law empowers Indian citizens to seek accessible information from a Public Authority and makes the Government and its functionaries to ensure transparency, accountability and responsible.
RTI Application Procedure:

An application for obtaining information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 must be made to the Public Information Officer of the University.
- The prescribed fee for applying is Rs.10/- by way of bank demand draft or banker’s cheque or Indian Postal Order payable to the K.K. University.
- There is an exemption in fees for citizens belonging to the economically weaker section (EWC) category. Such citizens should send a copy of their EWC card along with their application.
